Visitor hours and guidelines
To ensure a healthy and safe environment for our patients, staff and visitors, Nuvance Health has a restricted visitation policy. These guidelines will help you prepare for your next visit to Norwalk Hospital.
Inpatient care: 8am to 8pm daily
Open Entrance: Main Pavilion Entrance
Dining and cafeteria information
Café on 5 is located on the the fifth floor.
Monday - Friday: 6:30 am – 7:30 pm
Weekends: 7 am - 7 pm
Gift shop
The Grace Cole Jones Gift Shop, located in the Main Pavilion at Norwalk Hospital, offers an extensive variety of hand-selected gift items including jewelry, scarves, apparel, handbags, inspirational items, home décor, greeting cards, baby gifts, fresh flowers and more. Gift shop proceeds support hospital programs and services.

Treasure House
For 63 years, Treasure House has been a cherished part of Norwalk life, offering a warm welcome and a Victorian charm. Originating from a ladies' visiting board at Norwalk Hospital in 1893, it evolved into a thrift shop in 1961. Now located at 520 West Avenue, it remains staffed by volunteers committed to serving the community. Learn more.
On Maple Street, you’ll find the Main Entrance and patient drop-off at the Main Pavilion of The Anne P. and Harold W. McGraw, Jr. Center. You can also access the parking garage from Maple Street. The garage offers complimentary parking and elevator access on all levels. On campus you’ll also find the:
- C. Anthony and Jean Whittingham Cancer Center: Follow the signs to the cancer center, located on Maple Street. The center includes outpatient medical and radiation oncology and a healing garden.
- Bauer Emergency Care Center: Please follow the signs for the emergency department, located on Maple Street.
- Childbirth Center: Find the entrance on Rhodonolia Park, off Stevens Street. We offer a dedicated parking lot for expectant women and birthing partners. If you think you are in labor, please call your doctor before arriving to the hospital.
- Medical Office Building: Patients with appointments should park in the Dana Lot located on Rhodonolia Park, off Stevens Street. Use the building entrance located at 30 Stevens Street.
Valet services
You’ll find complimentary valet services at the:
- Main Pavilion, Monday through Friday: 8 am – 5 pm
- C. Anthony and Jean Whittingham Cancer Center, Monday through Friday: 7:30 am – 5 pm
- Bauer Emergency Care Center, Monday through Friday: 6 am – 11 pm
Pharmacy
You’ll find SWC Pharmacy in the Main Pavilion of The Anne P. and Harold W. McGraw, Jr. Center at Norwalk Hospital. The pharmacy provides medications for patients being discharged from the hospital, outpatients and community members. The pharmacy also has a wide range of products and pharmaceutical specialty items.
