About Rudy L. Ruggles, Jr.

Rudy Ruggles

Rudy L. Ruggles, Jr. has led a distinguished, wide-ranging career in several fields. A Harvard University alum, he has been an IBM physicist, a national security expert and president of the Hudson Institute. He also served as a lecturer at the United States Army War College. As a longtime supporter of Danbury Hospital, Ruggles has played an integral role in ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care. Ruggles’ commitment to community and passion for research inspired his transformational gift to expand Nuvance Health’s research efforts. The Rudy L. Ruggles Biomedical Research Institute honors his philanthropic legacy by conducting innovative translational research that enhances patient care
