Nuvance Health is dedicated to providing primary care and behavioral health services to you and your family. Scheduling an appointment with a Behavioral Health Consultant just became easier – your trusted primary care provider can refer you directly. Our unique partnership is located right inside your primary care office and allows for the identification of mental health concerns and major mental health issues that may need referrals for additional treatment.

What is a Behavioral Health Consultant?

Our team consists of experienced, Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) who provide medical and behavioral health-focused care for problems resulting from medical illnesses, mental health related issues or substance use. Our team utilizes a special set of skills to help you and your family more successfully manage illnesses through the continuum of care.

Logan McKechnie, LCSW

Logan McKechnie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has experience in working in a diverse settings with both adolescents and adults providing support to those with mental health and substance use diagnosis. She believes in an interdisciplinary team approach and works closely with providers in Nuvance Health. Logan’s empathetic and non-judgmental approach creates a safe space for patients to express themselves openly and honestly. Logan utilizes a variety of modalities during brief talk therapy sessions including motivational interviewing, mindfulness and solution focused treatment to work towards goals and create balance in life.
