Erol Nargileci, MD, approaches his work by taking ownership of his patients’ care, he said, educating them about their disease process with sincere and compassionate communication.
Dr. Nargileci recently joined Nuvance Health as an Interventional Cardiologist at Nuvance Health Medical Practice - Cardiology in Norwalk, Connecticut. He performs catheter-based procedures to treat heart disease at Norwalk and Danbury hospitals.
“The interventions I perform show their effects right away,” Dr. Nargileci said. “Seeing patients feel better, becoming, once again, active and functional members of our community, gives me the greatest satisfaction.”

Dr. Nargileci has more than 17 years of experience and most recently served as the Director of Echo-Diagnostic Lab and Cardiac Rehabilitation at Scheck Medical Center in Seymour, Indiana.
Dr. Nargileci earned his medical degree from Marmara University in Istanbul, Turkey. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago and fellowships in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at the Yale New Haven Health - Bridgeport Campus in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
In addition to English, Dr. Nargileci is fluent in Turkish and German.
“I take pride in treating them like family,” Dr. Nargileci said of his patients. “They should not expect anything less than the care they would get from their loved ones. In return, I expect them to be equally engaged in their care.”
