Nuvance Health’s Cardiac Rehabilitation program offers medically supervised exercise for individuals who have been diagnosed with cardiac conditions. The program is backed by the expertise of cardiologists, registered nurses, and exercise physiologists.
Cardiac rehabilitation may be right for you if you’ve experienced or are being treated for any of the following:
Heart attack
Bypass surgery
Valve surgery, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR)
Heart transplant
Angioplasty/stent
Stable angina
Congestive heart failure
We’ll place you in a personalized exercise program with two to three one-hour sessions per week, based on your individual ability and health needs. If you worry that your heart is not ready for exercise, rest assured that your program is designed specifically for you. Your EKG and blood pressure will be continually monitored throughout each session by a cardiac rehab specialist certified in advanced life support from the American Heart Association. We also have emergency medical staff and equipment located on-site.

To enroll in our cardiac rehabilitation program, you will need a prescription from your cardiologist. Once we receive a referral and medical records from your doctor, we’ll contact you to set up your initial assessment with a registered nurse.
