Family Medicine physician Dr. Bruce Todd Sanders joined Nuvance Health Medical Practice to offer primary care to patients.
He is based in the practice’s Hopewell Junction office.
“I love what I do as a physician,” Sanders said. “I think helping people live healthier lives is one of the greatest rewards.”
Sanders is board certified in family medicine and has more than two decades of experience. He was previously employed in primary care by medical groups in Fishkill, Putnam County and New Fairfield, Conn., and in urgent care in Poughkeepsie.
Prior to moving to the mid-Hudson Valley, Sanders worked at Canton Potsdam Hospital in St. Lawrence County and was assistant chairman of the Department of Family Medicine.
He completed his three-year residency training at South Nassau Communities Hospital — a 455-bed teaching hospital in Oceanside, Nassau County.
Prior to becoming a pre-med student at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Sanders received a master’s degree in physical education and spent several years at an elementary school in Suffolk County, NY.
